The Science behind the Experts

The StormSock isn't just any sock; it's a carefully engineered piece of technology. It features a three-layer construction:

  • A durable nylon outer layer:
    This layer protects the waterproof membrane from abrasion and damage.
  • A waterproof, breathable membrane:
    This is the heart and the most important part of our StormSock. It’s what makes it waterproof, preventing water from entering while allowing moisture vapor (sweat) to escape, keeping your feet dry and breathable.
  • A Merino wool inner layer:
    This layer provides warmth, wicks moisture, and offers next-to-skin comfort. Merino wool

This combination of materials creates a sock that's both waterproof, breathable, and soft to touch, meaning you can say goodbye to sweaty, soggy feet.
